Arbjan Mazniku, the political leader of the Elbasan region and co-chair of the Territorial Reform, today conducted an inspection tour of the Librazhd Municipality, where he emphasized the tangible difference between what municipalities could once do and the investments that are being made by municipalities today, after the 2014 reform. The newly completed Lunik-Prevalle road is a concrete example of this transformation.

During the inspection, Mazniku focused on the impact of the 2014 territorial reform and the opportunities it has opened for the economic and tourist development of the area:

"It is an area with extraordinary potential for residents, for developing mountain tourism and for those who want to return and invest. We have a clear example of how services improve when structures are aggregated. When Luniku was a municipality 10 years ago, the total budget of the municipality was around 15 million lek, of which only 5 million went for investments. While today, this road alone is worth 53 million lek, an investment that would have taken over 10-11 years to realize."

The completed road connects four villages and serves around 2,600 residents, significantly improving accessibility. With a length of 2.4 kilometers, it is built to modern standards, providing opportunities for economic and tourist development in the area.
