The fight for safe seats in the DP, Berisha removes Jorida Tabaku and introduces

Within the time limit, the CEC registered the DP's coalition with 25 other parties, mainly with the party of Ilir Meta, Shpëtim Idrizi, Fatmir Mediu and Agron Duka.

After the registration of the "Alliance for a Greater Albania" coalition led by Sali Berisha's DP, the president himself declared that 8 places on the safe lists would be for the allies. While the rest would be chosen according to the number of votes the candidates received from the Primary Elections.

But the most voted candidates of this process in Tirana do not appear on the closed lists of the Democratic Party for the May 11 elections.  Newsbomb.al has secured the list of names that Berisha has included in the safe list, it is worth noting that among them are the names of old associates of the former prime minister, such as Jozefina Topalli, Flamur Noka, Albana Vokshi, etc.

Meanwhile, even though Hysen Kadiu and Ilir Alimehmeti were declared the most voted in Tirana in the primaries, their names are not on the list. Berisha has also removed the DP MP, Jorida Tabaku, who managed to get around 650 votes in the primaries, but is not on the safe list, while the name of Erisa Xhixho from the Freedom Party is on it.
