The court has dismissed the mutual lawsuits between Prime Minister Edi Rama and the leader of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, for insult and defamation.

The lawsuit filed by Edi Rama against Sali Berisha was related to Berisha's statements during a show on TCH in 2018. Rama sought damages of 1,000,000 new leks.

At the same time, the court also dismissed Sali Berisha's counter-suit against Edi Rama, which was related to the prime minister's comments in conversations with his followers on social networks and on ERTV.
