The Assembly has requested the CEC to make the names of MPs available for verification of mandates in view of Friday's session, which is expected to convene at 10:00.

"In fulfillment of the duty of the Assembly of Albania to verify the mandates of the deputies declared elected by decision no./34, dated 28.8.2025 "On the announcement of the final result of the elections for the Assembly of the Republic of Albania, dated 11 May 2025", we request from you, in compliance with Article 69 of the Constitution, the documentation deposited with your institution for the candidates for deputies in the elections of 11 May 2025", states the letter of the Secretary General of the Assembly addressed to the CEC.

A day earlier, President Bajram Begaj announced the date of the meeting of the new parliament resulting from the May 11 elections. He also conveyed a message, asking the deputies to fulfill their commitments. A day before the meeting of the Assembly, on September 11, the SP Assembly will meet, where the new Rama 4 government will also be presented.
