Who are the 4 SP councilors who did not vote for Erion Veliaj's dismissal?
Veliaj's dismissal

The Tirana Municipal Council decided this Tuesday, September 23, to dismiss Erion Veliaj.

Erion Veliaj was dismissed from his post by a majority vote, after the Socialist Party, the Democratic Party, the Nisma Thurrje and the Together Movement voted in favor of the dismissal.

Meanwhile, the Movement for National Development and Democratic Conscience did not participate in the vote.

Veliaj's friend Gazment Paja and Joleza Koka were not present at the meeting, while two Socialist Party advisors, Aldo Merkoci and Alfred Muharremi, were at the meeting, but were absent from the voting process.

Meanwhile, while the Municipal Council decided to dismiss Veliaj, further steps remain to be taken to implement this decision.

Thus, the Municipal Council must pass the act to the Council of Ministers to seal the decision. Thus, a vacancy is declared for the Municipality of Tirana.

Then, it will be up to Veliaj whether he will appeal the decision to the Constitutional Court within 15 days. The Constitutional Court is then the body that issues the verdict.
