The CEC publishes the figures: Here is the number of voters until 11:00 in

The Central Election Commission has updated the data related to the participation of voters in the partial elections for the Municipality of Himara, where the process for the election of the new Mayor started at 07:00.

Petro Gjikuria, who is supported by the opposition, and Vangjel Tavo of the Socialist Party are running for mayor. Both candidates have voted and sent a message to Himariots to participate en masse in the voting process.

Meanwhile, the CEC reports that until 11:00, 17.36% of registered voters voted in the election, while the figure refers to data from 32 polling stations, out of 36 in total.

3,627 citizens exercised their right to vote, out of a total of 23,074.

From the reports, the only problem reported for the electoral process is the fact that citizens with expired identity cards were not allowed to vote. In a reaction, the CEC states that it is not within its competence to provide a solution to a problem, while everything is provided for in the law.
