Kos sees Albania's future in the EU: I will be your best lawyer in Brussels

EU Enlargement Commissioner Marta Kos is extremely optimistic about the negotiation process with Albania. Today, at the 4th Intergovernmental Conference, she emphasized that if our country fulfills its tasks meticulously, she will be its best advocate in Brussels.

He also said that every step should be evaluated as positive, anticipating Albania's future as part of the European Union.

"Albania is truly a success story, we have taken another step towards EU membership. It is more than adding a country, it is about the enlargement and unification of the EU. It is good news for the citizens of Albania as future EU citizens. It is also the achievement of civil servants who work every day for this, it is a big job. A strong coach or a stopwatch, but to achieve results we need motivation and I really hope I have done this.

Let's celebrate every small step taken, is my call. The plan is to open all chapters this year and close them next year. The chapter today is extremely important because tariffs are being restored and our work is to remove these barriers, to provide numerous economic opportunities for both sides. It is also about more well-being for all. We are getting a lot from the common market with Albania and the country is entering this market through the growth plan and is strengthening the European value chain. Entrepreneurs in Tirana should receive payments throughout Europe just like in any other country. We are working at a very ambitious pace, if Albania implements the reforms, I will be your best advocate in Brussels. Albania's future is undoubtedly in the EU! Today we are closer to achieving this objective than ever before! ", declared Kos in Luxembourg.
