The head of the DP parliamentary group, Gazment Bardhi, has responded to Prime Minister Edi Rama's comment regarding the protest of the Democratic Party deputies in front of the European Parliament.
Through a post on social networks, Bardhi writes that Edi Rama has chosen to "tango" with the organized crime that places the names on the list of candidates for deputy, while according to him, the opposition has chosen to "tango" with the interest public.
"It takes two to tango without any doubt! And you've chosen your tango partner: organized crime. You have decided to tango with Altin Hajri, who dictates all 3 on the list of candidates and you sign them. You have decided to tango with Avdylaj, so that they dictate to you the 5 on the list of candidates and you put your signature. And while you tango with organized crime, dancing the music that organized crime wants, the opposition has decided to tango with the public interest, to make every Albanian dance the music that represents European values in governance and that guarantees their well-being."
We recall that during the joint conference in Tirana with the president of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, Prime Minister Edi Rama was also asked about the protest of the Democratic Party deputies in front of the European Parliament building.
Rama stated that the music of the European Union is written in thousands of scores with concrete tasks, concrete deadlines, with very detailed monitoring and with concrete results. He further stated that they will not stay in the country and mourn the situation, but will continue forward to fulfill the tasks and introduce Albania to the European Union" writes Bardhi.
