Prime Minister Edi Rama has reacted after the threats of the Minister of Defense of Serbia, Miloš Vučević, towards North Macedonia and Montenegro.
Rama calls Vučević's statements to the Serbian media "dangerous" and "unacceptable", where he said that North Macedonia and Montenegro "will not be calm" even though they are part of NATO. Vučevič expressed his displeasure with the two states of the region due to the recognition of Kosovo's independence.
Rama says in his reaction that the region has moved forward during the last decade as much as could not be imagined. "We are fully committed to each other's security and territorial integrity," writes Rama.
The head of the Albanian government says that "Greater Europe is the future" alone.
Rama's reaction:
Threats against the stability and integrity of North Macedonia and Montenegro are dangerous and unacceptable. Let's not forget that Albania, North Macedonia and Montenegro are NATO allies fully committed to each other's security and territorial integrity.
We have achieved in the last decade in this region what no one could have imagined in endless decades before and we cannot and will not allow anyone to drag us back to the past that we are leaving behind forever! Together! Greater Europe is our only future.
