Belind Kelliçi

Belind Këlliçi and his team have rejected the accusations that the mayor Erion Veliaj did not build schools in Tirana.

During the "Opinion" show, Blendi Fveziu put on the screen the list of schools built by the Municipality of Tirana.

At this moment, Kelliçi was forced to admit that schools were built in Tirana, but claiming that they were built by the Municipality of Tirana with funds from the European Union.

This was disputed by the moderator and other journalists on the panel. Fevziu said that it is important that the schools were built, mentioning that many financings in Albania were made with EU funds.

"Is there a school in Tirana, what does it have to do with where you find the money. Why with what has Albania done half the work? With EU money. Whether a city administrator finds the funds to build is up to him. You told me there are no schools, here are the schools", said Fevziu.
