Prime Minister Edi Rama, in an urgent press conference, while explaining why the meeting of the Albania-Kosovo governments was cancelled, declared that "we are on the verge of setting in motion the plan of austerity measures for Kosovo by the internationals".
"I tried to ask him for a little more time, I took the time, but if we can't use this time for a common sense between everyone, I'm very afraid that the plan that is in the plan, really too heavy for Kosovo will be set in motion", said Rama.
The Prime Minister further emphasized that the Albanian nation is in danger of appearing in a bad light in the eyes of those who have made this nation to be in its best days in its history for the first time.
"We have a problem with the meeting of the two governments as we are not a UFO, we are not an isolated country, our relationship with Kosovo is a brotherly relationship, but we are members of NATO and there is no chance of moving from the axis of this community . Moreover, we think 100% the same way as our allies think in this case. Just as I told you that when some of the partners told Albini not to hold the elections in the north, I was 100% with Albini, because the boycott of the Serbs could not acquire the status of a fatal instrument for the Republic of Kosovo. In that case, I also gave my modest contribution so that the partners understood the principled and correct position for me. But today, not only do we not share the opinion, but as a country we are 100% against the way it is being acted" , Rama emphasized.
