The General Secretary of the Democratic Party, Gazment Bardhi, has spoken about the situation created in the official Democratic Party, where the Chairman, amid clashes, has set the date July 29 for holding the election process for the head of the party, where it seems that it will be a one-sided process for Lulzim Basha to take the leadership of the DP again.

Bardhi has warned that he will take these elections to court if the party's Statute is violated, as we remember that the Presidency wants to choose the Electoral Commission and hold the elections without convening the National Council, thus violating the statute.

"I will follow the steps provided by the party statute, I will do everything so that the statute is the sole leader of every internal process, including the election of the chairman. I am evaluating which step to take. I will not rush into actions. I have shown the appropriate responsibility for the situation in which DP is in and I appeal to everyone to be responsible.

If the statute is indisputably violated. We have a legal impasse on the statute of the party bodies, a process that follows, due to the fact that some of the party members chose an extra-institutional path to impose on the PD.
