Prime Minister Edi Rama reacted through a post on social networks a day after the operation he performed at QSUT to remove appendicitis.

The head of the government writes that today he left the hospital to continue the recovery protocol at home and adds that he will return to duty very soon.

"A heartfelt thank you to everyone who has taken an interest in my health these days. Thanks to the dedicated medical team and after the successful intervention, today I left the hospital to continue the recovery protocol at home and I cannot find enough words to to thank the doctors and nurses for their care.

I believe I will get back to you soon and once again thank you very much for your support. I love you very much, Edi",  he writes.
