Former MP Monika Kryemadhi, who recently officially divorced former president Ilir Meta, has received the support of the Tirana Divorced Women's Association.
In a video on social media, Kryemadhi states that this association is concerned about the language used towards her, emphasizing that she is no longer an active politician nor "the wife of a politician."
Meanwhile, the former politician gives the message that she is divorced, that she will live free and will not allow anyone to harm her and her family.
"Dear friends, I just received a statement of support from the Tirana Divorced Women's Association, which numbers a very large number, over 45 thousand.
They are very concerned about the denigrating and abusive language used against me, because I am neither a minister, nor a prime minister, nor a member of parliament, nor a politician's wife.
"I am a divorced woman, I am unemployed and I want to live my free life and I do not allow anyone to come after me and my family. I love and salute all divorced women. Stay strong," she says.
