SP MP Erion Braçe had requested an interpellation with the Minister of Agriculture today, after raising some of his concerns regarding stray animals and their burial and cremation after death.
As he took the floor, Braçe said that it was a lack of respect for the Assembly that the Minister of Agriculture, with whom he had requested an interpellation, was not in the hall and that he had delegated this 'confrontation' to the Minister for Local Government, Ervin Demo.
"It is also a lack of respect that does not hide the epic inability to read, not simply to not do the job," Braçe said of Minister Andis Salla, as he said that he will continue the interpellation with Minister Demo, as he wants him to do his job.
"This does not make me forget that the Ministry of Agriculture, the National Veterinary and Plant Protection Agency, the Minister of Agriculture, whose absence is a profound lack of respect for the Parliament, a lack of respect that does not hide the epic inability to read, not simply to not do the job, is directly responsible."
Under these conditions, I will make the interpellation because I want to do my job, but not without saying the following:
First, a group leader cannot determine who I should interpellate, second, a minister cannot determine whether he or another minister will interpellate me, third, the plenary preparation office cannot determine who I will interpellate. All of these people must read whose creation so-and-so or pistachio is.
Since these people have not done so, I am reading the law to break the rule of mental laziness that is happening these days. For this reason, I had called the Minister of Agriculture in this interpellation…”, said Braçe.
