The leader of the Democratic Party,  Sali Berisha, at today's press conference was also asked about Genc Deromemaj, the former leader of the Democratic Party in Vlora, who was elected head of the Vlora district cadastre.

Berisha says Deromemaj made his choice, taking a position that a democrat would never take.

Deromemaj sent a message to Berisha 10 days ago that he was leaving the party, but he did not tell him that he would be heading the Vlora cadastre.

Berisha : 10 days ago he sent a message, informing me that he would be leaving political activity. In fact, he has not been active for his own reasons. It is his choice and I have personally said it, I consider the essence of freedom as a choice, he has made a choice. He has taken a position that a democrat would never take. He has made his choice.
