The head of the government, Edi Rama, during the conversation with citizens online, commented on the claims that former President Ilir Meta was involved with the former State Security.

Rama said that this is an issue that requires full transparency.

According to Rama, Ilir Meta is a big problem for Albania.

'To enable transparency regarding an issue that has its own weight and merit. It cannot be left without becoming transparent. It is the case of an IM citizen, a security spy, a profile that creates the suspicion that the former President is behind it. This indicates an address. The law states that whoever was checked by the former Bezhani commission cannot be checked again. It may have been set on purpose. It's not a matter of whether we remembered late or we were in trouble. The gentleman is a big problem of Albania, not ours in the sense of political interest.'- said Rama.
