Fatos Nano

On the 70th anniversary of the birth of the former socialist leader Fatos Nano, DP deputy Flutura Açka has shared a story where she talks about her meeting with a Dutch official between 2003-2005 in Tirana.

In a post on social networks, Açka writes that Nano left her waiting in the office hall to finish talking with a bunch of men who were laughing so loudly that they could be heard outside, and then when she brought her into the office she didn't move from her place to wait for her. .

The democratic deputy further adds that if it were not for this political class, today Albania would be in Europe and not applying for asylum on the streets of the world.

Fatos Nano and the gang of gangs

Between the years 2003-2005, among the other Europeans who came to Albania, there was Mr. Atzo Nicolai, a Dutch politician who at that time was Secretary of State for European Affairs of the Kingdom of the Netherlands.

In an interview given to a Dutch national radio, after completing his political duty, he tells about one of the ugliest visits of his political life, that of the meeting with Fatos Nano of Albania.

The Dutch high official was kept waiting in the anteroom of our prime minister for a very long time. From where he was sitting, he could hear laughter coming from Fatos Nano's office. A long hop later the door opened and a bunch of men came out, not happy with the fun they had received from the meeting with the Albanian leader.

Then an official accompanied the Dutch Secretary of State into the office of the Albanian Prime Minister, who, tired perhaps from all the chaos of that day of visits, did not move from the place at all, but extended his hand to his foreign friend as he was sitting.

What happened next doesn't really matter. After all, this was, and still is, the state of the gangs that have passed through our lands before.

If it wasn't for this gang of gangsters who have usurped Albanian politics, today we would be in Europe, not applying for asylum on the streets of the world, not working in the black bars of Europe, nor risking the life of the waves of the English Channel.

At the time of Fatos Nano, corruption was rampant, he put him on the throne, today they stood him up and gave him the "Honour of the Nation" decoration.
