The President of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen , landed yesterday at Rinas airport.

As part of her tour in the Western Balkans , the EC president's first stop was in Albania, where yesterday she held a meeting with Prime Minister Edi Rama , while this Thursday morning she met with the president, Bajram Begaj .

Meanwhile, before coming to Albania, Ursula von der Leyen had announced this visit on her " Instagram " account.

What attracted attention was the photo used in the poster of the visit of the President of the European Commission .

In the photo posted by Ursula von der Leyen, Tirana can be seen, while the focus is on the iron where former president Ilir Meta used to train a few months ago .

If this photo had been made public last week then it would not have attracted the same attention.

But, it has come in these days when politics and current events in Albania have been disturbed by the arrest of the former president of the country, Ilir Meta, as " harassment ".
