The chairman of the Democratic Party, Lulzim Basha, requests that anyone who has doubts about him, address SPAK. He even promises that if the charges are proven, he is ready to waive his immunity.

"I don't deal with the issues, they deal with the person. I have made concrete proposals: The first is electoral reform, they do not deal with it. The second is the vetting of politicians, detailed control of the wealth of every politician and politician's family. Removal of immunity for any deputy, order deal with the case. They do not want to deal with the issue and start with personal attacks. Anyone who has the slightest doubt about me should turn to SPAK, I promise you that I voluntarily give up my immunity".

Basha calls all the accusations against him attacks and slander.

"But to use attacks, publicly proven lies, globally, to slander, to attack... For two years in a row, they have left nothing unsaid, for me, for my family. They took the same accusations that Edi Rama made, and after they got tired of those accusations and saw that they didn't go anywhere, they gave them to the new shareholders. There is no problem. I understand that the political culture in Albania has built this stereotype, that you don't deal with the issue, you deal with the person. But this is not my political culture, the way I see the Albania of tomorrow. Therefore, I invite everyone, both the denigrators and the attackers, to vote for the law on political vetting. Vote for the law on political vetting, let every politician pass through the sieve. Start with me. Who has answered this so far? No one".
