Defamation trial against Bardhi, GJKKO: SPAK to verify if it is the same

The next hearing was held at the GJKKO between Gazmend Bardhi and the former director of the Shkodra Police, Edmond Sulaj .

Only Edmond Sulaj  and his defense attorney are present at the hearing  , while Gazmend Bardhi is represented by attorneys Ledio Braho and Marash Logu .

Edmond Sulaj 's lawyer is requesting the reopening of the judicial investigation, as according to him, Gazmend Bardhi's lawyers have claimed to have official documents and acts, which in fact they do not have at their disposal.

He emphasizes that the court must obtain and verify them to determine whether Mondi is the same person they claim.

Bardhi's lawyer, Ledio Braho , states: " Those documents, before Gazmend Bardhi had them, were in the media ."

In conclusion, the court decided to accept Edmond Sulaj's request, to reopen the judicial investigation and to request SPAK to make available, without prejudice to the investigations, the information on whether the document read by Mr. Bardhi is part of the judicial file of the "Metamorphosis" case. The hearing is postponed to February 14, at 09:00.
