The Korça Court remanded Alti Nallbati, brother of the Democratic Party's candidate for deputy, Bledjon Nallbati, in pretrial detention.

The black squads considered his arrest in flagrante delicto legal at the moment they issued the security measure.

"The court, at the end of the trial, decided: Acceptance of the request. Validation of the arrest in flagrante delicto as lawful and the imposition of the security measure "Obligation to report to the judicial police" for this citizen," the court announced.

Alti Nallbat's defense attorney, Nevzat Tarelli, opposed the decision, as according to him there are no elements of a criminal offense.

"In our assessment, the alleged criminal act does not exist," said the lawyer.

Bledjon Nallbati also had a reaction, making accusations against the prosecutor in the case.

"The prosecutor, the former subordinate of Niko Peleshi, the person who personally dealt with the staging and falsification of this unfounded accusation, goes to court and says that I have not yet received the footage, I do not know what happened, but I say that a security measure be assigned, I considered the arrest in flagrante delicto for unfounded acts to be fair and I request that a security measure be assigned, regardless of whether I myself have not yet administered these acts. I am sorry that the judge became part of this political masquerade. It is understandable why. Unquestionably, all of this was staged so that Edi Rama could avoid his responsibility for the 12-year misgovernment and he got involved in such a swindle," said Nallbati.

Nallbati said that the police director delegated the issue to be handled by the Korça Directorate, while the Devoll Police Station has the competence.

"I understand, the police director, Niko Peleshi, are eunuchs, imbeciles who take orders and blindly implement them from their boss, Edi Rama. I do not have this statement with them. I will give them the answers legally as they deserve. This matter has just begun. They have taken the police officer who signed the papers on this indictment, by order, and they know it well. I invite that guy to go without the need for me to take him to SPAK and anywhere else. To explain why he dealt with a matter that does not concern him," said Nallbati.
