The survey published on Grida Duma's Top Story show, the first in Albania with international experts who predicted Donald Trump's victory, brings data for the two most important and largest districts in the country, Tirana and Elbasan.

According to the survey data, if Tirana were to vote today, 47.8% of it would turn pink, choosing the Socialist Party, while 30.8% would turn blue, choosing the Democratic Party.

Even in the capital, the race of new parties is led by "Mundësia", with 5.7% of the votes, followed by "Albania Becomes", with 4.6% of the votes, "Lëvizja Bashkë" with 2.1%, PSD with 1.7% and Lulzim Basha's Euro-Atlantic Coalition with 1.3% of the votes.

The figures translated into mandates would be 20 for the Socialist Party, 13 for the Great Albania Alliance, 2 for the Opportunity Party, and 2 for the Albania Becomes Movement.

If Albanians were to vote today, there would be no surprises in Elbasan either. Poll data for this district shows the Socialist Party as the winner with 53.2% of the vote, compared to 33.6% for the opposition coalition. In Elbasan, the third force is “Albania Becomes”, which secures 2.9% of the vote, followed by the “Mundësia” party with 2.2% of the vote and the Together Movement with 1.5%.

According to the third survey data, published just five days before the parliamentary elections on May 11, Edi Rama is the most liked politician for Albanians, with 51.9%, followed by Sali Berisha, who is liked by 36.6% of Albanians, and Agron Shehaj with 36%. Meanwhile, Adriatik Lapaj is liked by 30.3% of Albanians, followed by Arlind Qori with 26.6% and Lulzim Basha with 12.5%. Even in the third survey, three main problems for Albanians remain: the economy, unemployment and emigration.

McLaughlin's survey, in collaboration with Top Channel, is the first in Albania of a caliber with international experts, bringing a new standard in the analysis of public opinion and the prediction of electoral trends. John McLaughlin has been praised by US President Donald Trump as "one of the best in this field" and "a brilliant strategic mind"./ TCH
