Years after the loss of her son, writer Flutura Açka remembers May 5 with pain.
In a post on Facebook, she shared some painful words and memories with her son, while telling him the few changes that have happened in her life.
As she writes, Açka describes to him today, May 5, when her son lost his life at the age of 18.
"Son, the sixth May 5 of the flight! Nothing has changed in our alley. In our life, yes: you are missing. I rarely go to the birektor on the corner. I also meet friends less and less. Books and papers have taken over the house, a good part of politics. There is a time of day when pain becomes silent and brings back memories. Where you have the only existence. Today is Sunday. I'm not up yet. I have the laziness of people with a low pulse, who have difficulty seeing the day, finding the wardrobe, distinguishing the comb, smelling the coffee, behaving like a living human being. And it will be Sunday all day, and no one will mark my behavior for ethical, moral, or political disarmament. I'll get up, and luckily our bakery is open all day. I will know your pie because I know that the day has the taste that you liked, it has the peace that you share, it has the kindness that you forgive. And I pray that the day is long and the life is short. Mine", writes Flutura Açka.
