The Court of Appeal in Tirana will meet today at 10:00 a.m. to decide which party has the right to be called the Democratic Party.

The panel of judges consists of relator Alma Ahmeti and members Iliba Bezati and Elona Toro.

The decision that this judicial trio will take will be a final decision.

Both sides affirmed yesterday that they will not have additional requests, which would lead to the postponement of the hearing and, consequently, the decision on the DP seal.

For two and a half years, the battle for the seal of the Democratic Party has been going on between the democrats of Lulzim Basha and Sali Berisha with the hope of a final decision that will resolve once and for all the legal fate of the largest opposition party.
