Protests started today under the house of former Prime Minister Sali Berisha, the latter under house arrest for corruption and money laundering.

Tenor Rudi Sata, who is known as an ardent supporter of the former prime minister, took the floor before Berisha.

Even in his speech, he did not hesitate to say that God blessed Albania when he decided that Sali Berisha would be born in this country.

"The Albanian nation was and is a blessed nation on the day that God told Sali Berisha to be born in this homeland. This is the greatest blessing that God has given to the Albanian nation, to be born in this homeland. If Edi Rama is the devil of the Albanian nation", he said.

He continued his speech by calling on Albanians to stand up in protest.
