In a media conference from the headquarters of the Freedom Party, General Secretary Tedi Blushi revealed evidence that shows that the group of agents who arrested Ilir Meta are thugs wearing police uniforms.

Blushi said that the Albanians will be shown with evidence and facts that " bandits in uniform were part of the terrorist group that raped and kidnapped the President ".

"We are verifying these thugs name by name and we will make their faces public, so that the Albanians will learn who these gangsters are who are brave behind a mask on their faces. Who are these thugs who were used by Altin Dumani and Edi Rama", he said.

Blushi further clarified that "one of the likely officers on duty who should have presented the arrest warrant, which never happened, is a 27-year-old boy with no experience in police structures".

The Secretary of the Freedom Party also claims that at least two people with criminal records were present during Meta's arrest and accuses them of hitting the former President.

Blushi further said that citizens were threatened with weapons from a "Volkswagen" type civil vehicle not to film the moment of Meta's arrest and according to him this vehicle is used by individuals with a dark criminal past.

"As for the thugs who tried to forcefully pull the President of the Freedom Party without identifying which structure they belong to, there are at least two people with criminal records, which is unclear how they entered the police structure, but with a past early related to the gangs in the Durrës area. Second, one of the civilian vehicles, without any police logo, is a civilian "Volkswagen" type vehicle with license plate AA 42I VA. It is this vehicle from which one of the hooded bandits got out and threatened with a gun the citizens who were filming the scene of the event.
