The Prime Minister of Italy, Giorgia Meloni, says that she respects the decision of the Constitutional Court of Albania, which reviewed the pact for the accommodation of illegal immigrants in our country.
Meloni said in a statement to the media that the decision of the Constitutional Court of Albania does not violate the pact between the two countries, adding that "there is no plan B" at this moment.
Ironically, unlike the Greek neighbors, Meloni has expressed that he respects the decisions of the bodies of a sovereign country, unlike the suffocating pressure of official Athens for Fredi Beleri.
"I do not think that the decision of the Constitutional Court of Albania affects the pact with Italy, but we will not interfere in the decisions of a body of a sovereign country", said Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni in a press conference at the end of the European Council in Brussels.
"We don't have a plan B", Meloni said, adding that she was convinced that the suspension of the agreement decided by the Constitutional Court should not affect the agreement.
