DP MP Eralda Bano, during her speech from the floor of the Assembly, accused that the ministers who today preach about how to save energy, dine with the oligarchs and serve them, referring to the Minister of Energy, Belinda Balluku.
In her reply, Balluku asked Bano to be more serious when she speaks and to present facts, as she is a representative of the citizens and cannot speak what comes to her mind.
Among other things, Balluku said that she did not advise anyone at what temperatures to wash clothes, she simply distributed an awareness campaign for citizens.
Balluk: I was glad that the speaker saved the male ministers and caught up with the female ministers. At least we have men ministers in order. How can you come out here and throw bile but speak with facts that you are a lady. No, the dinner with the oligarchs, no, you have carried the torch for us. My dear, I don't care about the washing temperatures, because I wash them according to my ability. See where I talked about washing clothes, I just distributed a campaign to sensitize citizens. If you leave the refrigerator open, you use more energy, even if you leave the light on, you still use energy. Find me where I talked about washing clothes. I'm telling you, if you have something concrete, I'll explain it to you, about the clothes, lady, how to think about it. I have the duty to provide electricity. We advise it is not in my hand what the citizens do, my job is to raise awareness through campaigns. You have seen what is happening in the world, you have seen it in Switzerland. What do you deny the fact that there is a crisis? This is a critical moment, we cannot rain from the sky. If it rains there is local production, if it rains we produce it, if there is no rain we are forced to buy it.
Bano : I have it on video, Madam Minister.
