Democratic PD MP Ervin Salianji has demanded an account from the floor of the Assembly as to why the Police are silent about the people ordering the contraband oil coming from Libya.

The democratic deputy stated that the police do not provide any information about this cargo, stressing that one of the 5 oil oligarchs in the country has kept his mouth shut in order not to reveal the customer, citing one percent for one fifth of the companies.

"There is oil smuggling in Albania. Why is there no name? Who are the buyers of Libyan oil that comes with Libyan ships to Albania. Kastrati, Gega, Alpet, Elda, Bolvoil have the right to import to PortoRomano. Which of the five have been silenced and the police do not speak. The captain of the Libyan ship said that he came to Albania two more times.

There is a resolution prohibiting any kind of processing of ships coming from this country. Who are the customers? How is it possible that a ship with thousands of tons of oil arrives in Albania and only a few foreigners are arrested?
