After the conclusion of the meeting of the National Council of the Democratic Party that was held this Wednesday, the leader of this political force, Sali Berisha, made a brief statement to the media, where he addressed the issues discussed at this meeting, while also answering journalists' questions.
Berisha was asked whether he would expel former MP Ervin Salianji from the DP, after the clash between them at a distance that began with the holding of a parallel round of meetings with the party's base.
"Once again, I have expressed everything I have had on this issue as the leader of the DP and I guarantee that I cannot change it. The absolute stance of this political force, the absolute red line are the criminal gangs. No, I did not say that there are no self-exclusions !", Berisha responded to questions about Salianji.
Asked about Ervin Salianj's accusations against Arjan Ndoji, Berisha replied briefly that he fully stands by his previous statements. " Gangs are the red line for the DP," he repeated.
When asked directly whether Salianji should be expelled from the Democratic Party, Berisha simply replied: " Remove the statute."
Berisha: We will have revolts, not protests!
Meanwhile, regarding today's meeting, Berisha said that discussions were held regarding the development of the protests.
"We discussed starting the PD revolts, which will give the final answer to this rot that stinks in all 4 corners of Albania and the world, theft, drugs, drugs and theft. This is the third meeting of the PD forums, the leadership, the parliamentary group and the National Council that go in a line that marks the decision of this political force to start the revolts that will be stopped only when this regime is archived in the shame of history ," he said.
Asked if the Democrats' blood is boiling to protest, Berisha said: "From what I saw today, it is extremely high. A readiness that you cannot imagine. I tell you. A determination that this party has never had before. So, it is an extremely important and positive development, an awareness. Of course, despite the fact that it is crumbling, despite the fact that it is in agony, despite the fact that it is planning a coup, the people must still demand and the Albanian people will demand Edi Rama, the hostage of Lubi Balluk, of Ergys Agas. Did you hear that or not? Ergys the hostage-taker. Ergys the hostage-taker, the man who takes hostages, hostages in the name of the baxhanak."
Berisha did not provide further details regarding the organization of the protests, but concluded his statement to the media with the words: "Protests absolutely, revolt, not protest. You will learn that they are all secrets of the organizers!"
