After trying to arrest them yesterday after the protest in the Parliament, 2 civilians who claimed to be police officers went late at night to the headquarters of the United Movement.
In the video shot by the activists, two people are seen, who according to them were police officers and had gone to the premises of the headquarters, to remind the activists that they should report to the police this morning.
Activists of the Joint Movement protested yesterday in front of the Assembly headquarters, after the MPs voted on the draft law for the doubling of their road, the ministers, the Speaker of the Assembly and the Prime Minister.
Post the Movement Together:
CIVILIANS CLAIMING TO BE POLICE APPEAR AGAIN AT THE HEADQUARTERS OF THE TOGETHER MOVEMENT Two civilians who claimed to be state police officers appeared at the headquarters of the TOGETHER MOVEMENT this evening. A little further away stood a group of other civilians. The alleged reason for their presence was the "remembering" that 8 activists of the TOGETHER Movement went to the police for the terrible crime of the peaceful protest in front of the Parliament, where we threw photocopies of banknotes in the air as the MPs passed by. Within hours, police in uniform or civilians pretending to be police break the law by entering the headquarters of a political party and trying to pressure activists.
This ugly show must come to an end. Edi Rama should stop humiliating police officers by forcing them to put pressure on an opposition political party. We remind you that today's protest of the TOGETHER Movement was completely legal and in accordance with Article 12 of the Law on Assemblies. But its echo in public opinion is leaving the government and the entire State Police awake. Under such a corrupt and absurd government, we can expect anything, even to have them come to our house at midnight to handcuff us. On this occasion, we want to reiterate that today the Parliament of Albania and the deputies of all wings have decided to double their salary. Meanwhile, in Albania ruled by them, the minimum pension remains 8,000 ALL, the average pension is 15,000 ALL, and no institution will know about the vital minimum. Shame!
Yesterday, the "Together" Movement protested against the increase in the salaries of MPs and ministers in the Parliament of Albania. With a large banner in their hands that reads: Don't get fed up!, activists came out against the bills.
