President Donald Trump's former Special Envoy for the Western Balkans, Richard Grenell, met today with Prime Minister Edi Rama, in the latter's office.

The news was announced by Grenell himself, who published some photos on the Twitter social network and clarified the conversation. He informs that they have discussed to do more for the release of Hashim Thaçi from prison. According to Grenell, the charges against Thaçi are false and the witnesses are said to have been manipulated by Jack Smith.

"I had lunch with the Prime Minister of Albania, Edi Rama, one of our biggest allies in NATO, and we agreed that more must be done to free Hashim Thaci from prison in The Hague as soon as possible. The charges against him are false and the witnesses say they were manipulated by Jack Smith." - writes Grenell.
