The head of SPAK, Altin Dumani, has reported today to the 1999 NCD about the work of the Special Prosecution Office over the last three years.
But during his questions, MP Gazment Bardhi claimed that Prime Minister Edi Rama sent a message to Duman through a public official, asking him to close the "Xibraka" issue as soon as possible.
"It turns out according to the information available by the DP parliamentary group, that Prime Minister Edi Rama through a citizen, I am not mentioning the name, a public official in the independent institutions, has sent you a message that the issue "Xibraka" should be closed as soon as possible.
I want to hear from you the response you have sent back to the Prime Minister. And after the intervention of the Prime Minister, you give guarantees that this case will be investigated independently," Bardhi said.
Dumani said that the "Xibraka" issue is under investigation, while he said he does not receive and does not send messages with any Albanian titles.
"I can't give any comment on the matter being investigated. Regarding the relationship of the prime minister or any of the head of state in Albania, my relations are only institutional and procedural, I do not receive and do not send any kind of message" said Dumani.
