The legal representative of the Movement for National Development Party (LZHK), Fabian Topallaj, submitted a request to the CEC to change the name of the party to the Progressive Movement for National Development.

In relation to this request, the chief commissioner, Ilirjan Celibashi, after examining the case in question, stated that the party will be registered in the elections with the data that are in the documentation of the Tirana Court register, so according to him, the name change is not defeated.

"The name of the Party and other data will be those according to the documentation of the registry of the Court of Tirana", stated Celibashi.

We remind you that the leader of the Movement for National Development is MP Dashamir Shehi and this political entity has competed with the Democratic Party in previous elections. Fabian Topollaj is the coordinator of the Bindja Demokratike party, but the two parties have decided to compete together in the May 14 elections.
