The future democratic deputy who is expected to replace Luciano Boçi in the Assembly, Qani Xhafa, has reacted to the news about his arrest, after he had an accident while driving his vehicle while drunk.

Through a post on "Facebook", Xhafa informs that he is at home and is in good health.

" Good evening everyone! Based on the news circulating on the portals and the messages you have sent me, I inform you that I am at home and in good health!

Thank you for your interest and Happy Summer Day too! ", he writes.

Qani Xhafa had an accident on the "Qemal Stafa" boulevard in Elbasan, meanwhile, immediately after the accident, he was put in handcuffs by the police after it turned out that he was driving while drunk.

Qani Xhafa ran for the DP in the general elections of 2021 in the city of Elbasan, where he was ranked 8th on the list, after Luciano Boçi.

He will become a deputy after Luciano Boçi will leave his mandate because he will compete for mayor in Elbasan in the local elections on May 14.
