MP Pandeli Majko seems to have emerged from the ranks of other Socialist Party officials and his boss Edi Rama, saying that anyone who is attacked by SPAK is personally responsible.
Majko states that he feels sorry for each of the party members who are being targeted by SPAK, and according to him, there have even been cases when he has been left without a text for people who worked alongside them.
He claims that more socialists are going to prison than their opponents, and even mentioned a joke he was told in Kukës that " prison is for men and socialists ."
"Not only has it struck from the ranks of the SP, but it has also made it so that we are left without a text, for friends, comrades, who we have had side by side. I do not enter those who come out and say that the defense is personal. It has hurt me for everyone and I think that this is one side of the problem, but the other side that should be appreciated is that the SP accepts the system. The joke they told me in Kukës is that prison is for men and for socialists, in the first sense of the word, that is, that socialists are going to prison, thanks to a system established thanks to the vote of our majority. I do not say that we are angels, that is why this is happening, we are people who make mistakes and each in his own way will be held accountable. That is why this is also the reason why I do not like to go to these counters and act as if the water comes clean from the Socialist Party, but then some scoundrels do this or that. "Albanian politics has demanded this happening, or to put it in northern dialect, since I am delegated to Kukës, it has demanded this process that is happening," Pandeli Majko said on ABC News.
