Socialist MP Erion Braçe expressed on "Top Story" that he is interested in a political battle with substance, while emphasizing that he is not in politics in vain.

Addressing the panel on the program, he said that "you greatly underestimate the SP."

"What interests me is the political battle with substance. I do not sit around as a puppet or as a careerist. Tirana has a very big problem: it is neither self-governing nor governed."

I don't care about territorial division, I don't care about real local power. That's not what we're talking about today.

There are things that have been done well in this city, at different times. The construction industry in the city has no civic standards. There are no civic standards, there are no ethics, I am disgusted by the carbine that is being built there.

"I think it's a matter of standards. I'm looking for a new standard in this city, when the other one came to me and it dawned on me. You greatly underestimate the SP, I'm telling you the truth ," said Brace.

Asked about the situation in Tirana, the socialist MP, who has openly expressed his ambition to run for the leadership of the capital at a time when Edi Rama supports Ogerta Manastirliu, stressed that he will not be the next puppet or the next Qoka.

"I, the mayor, am going to stay there as a puppet or as a careerist, or let's close it down now and see what happens in 4 years, I'm not going to stay. I'm not interested in the new territorial division, where the border will be, but I'm interested in the real power of the locals."

Today, a municipality does not administer education, healthcare... These are problems that have to do with people's daily lives.

"In this city there are things that have been done very well, but there are also things that have not been done. It's the construction, there are no civic standards, there are no civic morals, they build and don't care at all. I think this is against the standard. No. I'm not against it, but I'm asking for a construction standard in the capital ," Erion Braçe continued.
