Former Prime Minister Sali Berisha has warned of "powerful protests" organized by the opposition and which, according to him, will lead to the departure of Prime Minister Edi Rama.

During a conference with journalists, where he also denounced what he calls an election massacre, Berisha was also asked about the way in which Edi Rama left power.

"Edi Rama ran away with strong Albanian protests which the opposition will organize", declared Sali Berisha.

The last protests of Berisha's opposition coalition with Ilir Meta were held in February of this year. Then the political parties in the country abandoned the actions on the ground, to deal with the local election campaign.

This is not the first time that Berisha has warned of protests, since the results of the elections, even earlier he has brought up the idea of ​​civil disobedience.
