The leader of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, during a press conference, harshly attacked his former minister, Ilir Rusmali.

The latter is a member of the Complaints and Sanctions Commission. Yesterday, the KAS rejected several requests from the Democratic Party regarding its claims for declaring the election results for the Kukes Region invalid.

This has led Berisha to harshly attack Rusmal, calling him "a mercenary without any human standards."

"I warn Ilirjan Celibashi to submit every document required in accordance with the law and to reject the shameful mercenary stance of Ilir Rusmal. A figure stripped of any human standards, a servant without any principles who voted not to release the minutes of the VC to the candidates or the Democratic Party for Kukës where we won."

"A mercenary without any moral or human norms blocks the minutes requested by the commissioners, this is not his duty but Ilirjan Celibashi's, it is no one's business, the law gives them, you heard it, in the district we won they did not give the minutes, I verified that I said it is impossible, I urgently ask Ilirjan Celibashi to submit the minutes," said Berisha.
