Last night, on Top Story on TCH, the Meta-Kryemadhi case and their indictment by SPAK were discussed. The panel included several journalists, as well as Ilir Meta's lawyer, Kujtim Cakrani.

The President of the Freedom Party, Ilir Meta, followed the debate from prison and today made a lengthy reaction on social media, making accusations against SPAK, as well as numerous allusions.

He says that in his file, "there are many people from Dibra and Greeks", and raises suspicions of treason, raising the question of why SPAK is not investigating several people related to the file against him.

Meta's full reaction:

Judgment is approaching and the sun is not covered with a sieve. We are not dealing with a "Meta-Gate", but with a "SPAK-Gate" that is coming towards us.

Dear Grida,

I followed you closely yesterday, after my new lawyer, Mr. Kujtim Cakrani, told me that he was invited by you.

When I saw the panel, I was reminded of the OSCE-ODIHR assessment that 87% of the media and audience is dominated by the Government.

This is because I saw a single person (Lawyer Cakrani), who of course has the duty to legally defend me, in front of three invited analysts, who said or interpreted things that even the SPAK prosecutors themselves would not have said.

How many lies does one hear in such a short debate!

After allegedly expressing regret for the "excessive" form of my arrest, which in fact was only a deliberate and illegal terrorist kidnapping, the analyst at SPAK deliberately lied that we had not denounced it legally, when it is a public fact that the Freedom Party protested in front of SPAK and the public submission of the report made there in the presence of the media by Lawyer Gjokutaj.

Then, the same analyst told us that the lobbying money was used for a photo with Trump, when this is a lie that even SPAK has not admitted, despite investigating a delinquent's report that I (LSI) had paid 1 million USD for a photo with Trump, which never happened.

Meanwhile, the only photos I have with President Trump and the First Lady are official and in New York as President of the Republic, according to official protocol.

We heard many lies about me about lobbying, when it was even admitted that the episodes with the "McKeon Group" had only resulted as I had stated in SPAK in the past, but also publicly.

Of course, it was shocking that my former colleague at the LSI, who had introduced me to the Greek-American lawyer in Greece and who also proposed at the LSI Presidency meeting that a 15 thousand USD down payment be paid to the company "McKeon Group" and who later came with me to the US for President Trump's inauguration ceremony and was at every meeting where Mr. Fidetzis was present, had stated that he did not know Mr. Fideszis.

Meanwhile, in that visit previously planned by me as Speaker of the Assembly and accompanied by Mr. Petrit Vasili, etc., this MP joined our delegation only to be in the meetings organized by Mr. Fideszis with the "McKeon Group".

Even the publicly released photo of me with Mr. Petrit Vasili during the ceremony is in the seats previously reserved by friends of the Congress, while the invitations secured (unsolicited) by the "McKeon Group" at the request of Mr. Fideszis were given to other companions as they were peripheral and unnecessary for us.

Just as in the meeting with the President of the "McKeon Group", we were introduced to an agreement that Mr. Fideszis had signed with the "McKeon Group" on behalf of the LSI, where he had also included points of future cooperation without my authorization and knowledge and without the LSI.

I immediately denounced this agreement to the President of the McKeon Group as false and unnecessary and requested that FARA (Department of Justice) be notified of this falsehood, and so it happened.

The letter from the President of the McKeon Group denying this fraud committed by Mr. Fideszis at my insistence is now available to the Court and not only to SPAK.

Of course, the "McKeon Group" was very serious, but also very expensive and unnecessary for us, so discussions continued about a possible agreement, but it was never finalized.

While Mr. Fideszis was a fraud-beneficiary who was exposed with the second meeting immediately in Washington.

Meanwhile, the only payment of 15 thousand USD made to the "McKeon Group" was made through the bank and, according to the law, deposited with the CEC.

The biggest surprise in this case is that the person who introduced me to Mr. Fideszis in Greece, who came with me to the US just for Fideszis, who proposed to the Presidency that 15 thousand USD be paid as an advance to SPAK, had stated that he did not know Fideszis.

In my statement to SPAK, I blamed COVID-19 for this, which could have damaged my memory, but apparently after additional investigations, SPAK was convinced that I had told the truth.

I understand anyone who changes parties or political interests, but SPAK has a duty to conduct impartial investigations and prove the facts and the truth.

As for other lobbying companies, SPAK had every opportunity to conduct full and impartial investigations, as in this case, and to prove who the person or company in the US was that made illegal payments to the alleged companies.

Është e padiskutueshme që gjatë kohës që unë kam qenë Kryetar i LSI, çdo veprim është bërë me vendim Kryesie, si për miratimin e kontratave edhe të personave të autorizuar për nënshkrim apo ndjekje të zbatimit të tyre dhe çdo gjë është deklaruar në KQZ sipas ligjeve tona dhe atyre të SHBA.

Nëse del diferenca midis pagesave të deklaruara nga kompanitë në SHBA për llogari të LSI dhe atyre që ka deklaruar LSI në KQZ, atëherë pa diskutim që kemi një problem serioz me ligjin amerikan dhe shqiptar, por kjo nuk ka asnjë lidhje me Ilir Metën, sepse as kam qenë në dijeni të pagesave të paligjshme nga dikush dhe as kam autorizuar dikë në SHBA të bëjë veprime të tilla të cilat janë ose diletante ose të qëllimshme.

Unë i kam kërkuar SPAK prej dy vitesh të kërkojë nga partnerët amerikanë të hetojnë kush i ka bërë këto pagesa në SHBA dhe të merret në përgjegjësi ligjore, pasi unë kurrë nuk kam autorizuar dikë të bëjë marrëzira të tilla.

Natyrisht, personi i parë që duhej pyetur quhet Adrian Shatku, i cili ka qenë prezantuesi i këtyre kompanive me LSI dhe ka mbajtur lidhjet me to. Ky është një shqiptaro-amerikan-dibran, shumë i njohur për prokurorët e SPAK-ut, por çuditërisht i papyetur se paska tre vjet që nuk paska ardhur në Shqipëri. Çudi pse?

Personi i dytë besoj që duhej pyetur është Z. Eriol Braimllari, i cili në dijeninë time ka mbajtur për 10 vite gjithë korrespondencën me kompanitë e lobimeve edhe me e-mail (për fat të keq, pas largimit të tij nga detyra si Drejtor Kabineti, çuditërisht nuk ka lënë asnjë arkiv apo gjurmë) dhe që rezulton edhe në dosjet e SPAK-ut. Besoj që në hetimet e SPAK për lëvizjet e kompanive, emri i tij është pothuajse kudo.

Sepse kushëriri i tij i parë, Z. Endrit Braimllari, është marrë në pyetje nga SPAK-u, pasi ka firmosur për lobimet dhe ka pasur për detyrë të ndjekë zbatimin e tyre, duke qenë përgjegjës edhe për organizimin dhe për financat.

Çuditërisht, Endriti pasi hyri në SPAK si përfaqësues i PL (LSI), doli si "rilindas" i Edi Ramës dhe, siç dihet publikisht, u fut edhe në listën e PS për kandidat për deputet në Tiranë.

Ndaj e dashur Grida, SPAK i ka të gjitha mundësitë t’i gjejë personat që kanë bërë veprime të paligjshme apo kanë patur dijeni për to edhe në SHBA edhe në Tiranë.

Asnjë provë dhe fakt nuk i çon dot ata te Ilir Meta, përveç urdhrit politik të Edi Rmës dhe shefave të tyre që presin mandate të përjetshëm prej tij duke shërbyer si kamikazë politikë.

Eshtë e çuditshme se në këtë dosje ka shumë dibranë dhe grekë.

Por ky nuk është problem dhe shqetësimi im.

Interesi im i vetëm është vendosja përballë ligjit e secilit që e ka shkelur atë apo që ka patur dijeni.

Therefore, I would ask that you no longer treat responsibilities in pairs, as they are individual to each person in relation to the law.

Communism felt a perverse pleasure when it used family members against family members in political processes.

The "rebirth" of the pervert is even more sinister in this regard.

I take all my responsibility before the law and the truth and I have no reason to "bill" anyone else.

But anyone or people who have only benefited from the LSI, which aims to be used against me to ease themselves and give pleasure to the pervert, are making a very serious mistake for today and the future.

I cannot abandon the causes of the Freedom Party, which are an existential national interest today, nor disappoint all those Albanians who have believed and believe in Ilir Meta.

As for the overworked CEZ-DIA case that Mr. Dumani registered in December 2019 at the request of Rama and McGonigal, it would be a waste of time to deal with it here, as it is overused with extremely grotesque characters with problems with the law and has been tried several times at home and abroad.

But it's a good thing that it will be tried once again so that we can have fun with the regime's "witnesses" and the lies of SPAK, which cannot investigate either the forgiveness of 600 million euros to CEZ by Rama-Gjiknuri or the incinerator that doesn't exist, because it is a very "intellectual" crime.

And finally, dear Grida, since I cannot come to the studio, please ask the General Directorate of Prisons for permission to hold a panel with all the analysts you invited yesterday here (in the ping-pong room) to answer all their questions from yesterday and others.
