The leader of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, accused the Special Prosecution Office (SPAK) in a press conference today of protecting organized crime and concealing evidence related to the " Çela " cartel.

According to Berisha, in SPAK files there are "kilometers of conversations" between Interior Minister Taulant Balla and Mario Çela, Suel Çela's brother, on issues involving elections, projects and political opponents.


" The Çela Cartel is among the most dangerous in the Balkans and Europe, but it is protected by Edi Rama and Altin Troplini ," said Berisha , harshly criticizing the SPAK leaders and emphasizing that interventions against this group have only been made by foreign authorities, such as Italian or German ones.

He asked the media to be careful in their reporting and not to attribute to SPAK actions that, according to him, are the merit of international partners.

Sali Berisha: We are dealing with the area of ​​the Çela cartel. The cartel is among the bloodiest and most dangerous in the Balkans and Europe. The cartel that is protected by Edi Rama and Altin Troplini. And now let me make a clarification since I am here. Last time a journalist asked me here to comment on Spaku's interventions against the Çela cartel. That was a complete falsehood. It was the Verona prosecutor's office and absolutely not Altin Troplini, which had ordered the seizure of the assets of the Çela cartel.

And I must tell you here that in the special prosecutor's office, in the party's Skapi, there are kilometers and kilometers of conversations between Taulant Balla and Mario Çela, Suel Çela's brother, in which they talk not only about elections, but also about opposing politicians. They also talk about projects, but they are all closed by Altin Troplini. Altin is a pawn of crime.
