Prime Minister Edi Rama has reacted on the social network X regarding the occupation of sidewalks by businesses in the coastal area of ​​Lungomare, in Vlora.

He called for the immediate liberation of public spaces, describing this as a necessary step to raise the standard of service in line with the image of "Tourist Albania".

"No problem with chairs and service on a part of the sidewalk, like in Paris, London or New York, but without forgetting that the sidewalk belongs to the people and not to barricades, like in Lungomare!", writes Rama.

The head of government emphasized that Lungomarja is a modern model of a coastal city and should also serve as a model for the external design of the service line.

He made a direct appeal to business owners and managers:

"They must remove all the barricades themselves and cooperate with the Municipality of Vlora and the Territorial Development Agency on the new design, for which we will gladly support them."

Rama emphasized that in addition to intervening in existing structures, the goal is to improve not only the functionality, but also the aesthetic appearance of the tourist route, in accordance with a new national standard for hospitality and service.
