The head of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, has joined the opposition's protest in front of the Assembly, addressing the protesters that they are not only protesting for the 750,000 voters who voted for the Democratic Party, but for all Albanians.

During his speech, Berisha declared that today the Assembly has turned into a bunker of forbidden speech, as he considered the protests called by him as a revolution of all Albanians.

You protest for all those Albanians, who tear away the sons of their hearts and send them to foreign lands, to uncertainty. You are protesting today for all those Albanians, who should believe that Albania is a blessed country, that Albania can be made by Albanians.

What happens today? Why has this parliament, from a temple of free speech, turned into a bunker of forbidden speech?
Simple, any thief who enters Albania to steal, if caught in the act, tries to kill you if he can. They don't enter our houses directly like gangs, but in our pockets, in our taxes, in all your public assets, they steal at night, they steal during the day. They hate the citizens.
