Democratic Party leader Sali Berisha and members of the DP paid homage today to the bust of Azem Hajdari, as today marks the 27th anniversary of the assassination of the Hero of Democracy, Azem Hajdari.

In his speech, Berisha said that " today the pluralism for which Azem Hajdari and the liberating students walked towards sublime sacrifices to restore pluralism in Albania, is de facto oppressed and violated."

For this reason, he said that the DP is ready for any sacrifice and battle to restore pluralism in Albania.

Today the free vote does not exist... Today is a day of oath for every Albanian democrat. For every DP MP...for every leader of this party and its supporters, to stand up to save Albania, pluralism, the free vote...we are ready for any price, for any sacrifice.
