Not only Iran and neighboring countries, but also the Kremlin are paying money to destabilize Albania. This statement was made from the floor of the Parliament by the leader of the SP group, Taulant Balla, who announced that the majority will soon dialogue with the protesters.
"Anyone in Albania who cannot believe that there is a foreign hand here that is paying money to destabilize Albania should understand that this is not only Iran and neighboring countries that do not want to see Albania in tourism, but also other actors, including the Kremlin," said Balla.
He emphasized that the protest was accompanied by elements of violence and individuals with criminal records.
"Our task is to move forward and make Albania a member of the EU. I want to be direct to the protesters: we are only a few days away from the time of dialogue with you who had legitimate reasons to protest, which is coming from anger with nature and towards those who have abused the trust in the chair of power given by the Socialist Party. We are ready to listen to and reflect on the sincere reasons for the protest."
"I am confident that the beautiful citizens of Flamingo Boulevard will distance themselves even more than yesterday from the violence of the political and social scum who have taken over the protest. The protest has nothing in common with these criminal individuals who are using the protest for dirty purposes of foreign interference."
Full statement of the Front in the Assembly
We still do not know the reasons because the DP, sorry to say, has boycotted this session, but I really hope that it will be in the following sessions. Whoever thinks that they can put pressure on the deputies of the Assembly to exercise their duty in accordance with the Constitution and the obligation to continue working in this historic moment of naturalization in the EU, is very wrong. Not today, but every day until 2029, this Assembly will continue to exercise the mandate that the Albanian citizens have entrusted to us and will remain faithful to the over 800 thousand votes that have brought us to this hall.
We condemn the acts of violence inspired by criminal individuals involved in the protest. We have shown ourselves a few of them who have been involved in criminal activity of drug trafficking, robbery, violence. An individual from Lezha, a certain Anton Frroku, who is one of the most unimaginable profiles of banditry and criminality in this protest, who is wanted for domestic violence, because only these people can be seen protesting during the day and raping their wives at night. I ask the police to find him immediately and tell the OFV flamengoes who are protesting in defense of gender equality; I would welcome someone to distance themselves. 3 police officers are injured and this Parliament cannot remain silent. The blood of police officers is the blood of the state.
The position of the Assembly must be clear. These people lost the battle from day one. These people cannot be a party that knows what the state is.

I am confident that the beautiful citizens of Flamingo Boulevard will distance themselves even more than yesterday from the violence of the political and social scum who have hijacked the protest.
