The People's Advocate, Bardhi invites the majority to the negotiations:

Gazmend Bardhi, in the capacity of the chairman of the parliamentary group of the Democratic Party, asks the Assembly and the SP to start negotiations to elect the Ombudsman.

Referring to the political tradition since 2012, Bardhi points out that the opposition has the right to propose the name that will replace Erinda Ballance.

However, the necessity for majority votes, since 84 votes are needed, the head of the DP parliamentary group invites the socialist counterpart to dialogue for a transparent and democratic process.

For more than 1 year, the democrats and socialists have not found an agreement for the People's Advocate, the reason is related to the SP that did not vote, and on the other hand, the divided democrats have not yet decided which of the names they will sign.
