The deputy of the Socialist Party, Erion Braçe, announced from the floor of the Assembly that pensions will increase by 8.6% for all categories.

He also stated that even in December, for the end-of-year holidays, all pensioners will receive the annual bonus.

 "From October 1, the entire mass of pensioners in Albania will receive an increase in pensions by 8.6%, which fully covers the increased rate of inflation for pensioners. In a few days this will be effective and will bring 3.2 billion to pensioners' budgets for the next 3 months, plus this increase for the next year will transfer 12.1 billion to pensioners. This is the full bill. Meanwhile, from December of last year until October 1, 11.7 billion ALL have been transferred to pensioners' budgets. The pension bonus that is to be paid in December will be added to this amount.
