Albert Halilaj has been released from the post of prefect of Kukes District by a Decision of the Council of Ministers.

Halilaj will run under the banner of the Socialist Party in the partial elections for mayor of Kukës.

In your place, Granit Gjana has been appointed as the new prefect of Kukës.

DECISION:

ON THE RELEASE AND APPOINTMENT OF THE PREFECT OF THE DISTRICT OF KUKS

In support of Articles 100 and 114 of the Constitution and Article 5 of Law No. 107/2016, "On the District Prefect", with the proposal of the Minister of the Interior, the Council of Ministers

DECIDE:

Albert Halilaj, prefect of Kukes District, is released from this duty.

Granit Gjana is appointed Prefect of Kukës District.

This decision enters into force immediately and is published in the "Official Gazette".
