The lawyers admit it: Arben Ahmetaj is not in Albania

Arben Ahmetaj is not in Albania. This was confirmed by the lawyers of the former socialist minister during the meeting in the Council of Mandates.

Lawyers Ai Ardian Visha and Henrik Ligori have stated a few moments ago that Ahmetaj is not in Albania, however they have not given more details about where the former minister whom SPAK wants to arrest may have gone.

Earlier today, the media reported that Ahmetaj left Albania on Friday, the 7th, going through customs with Greece. However, the possibility that Ahmetaj has left for another country is not excluded.

The meeting of the Council on whether or not to remove Ahmetaj's mandate has been going on for more than three hours.
